Asked team officials to take care of his daughter
(NEWSER) – As Kasandra Perkins lay mortally wounded on their bed, Jovan Belcher apologized to her and kissed her forehead as his mother rushed into the room, having heard the gunfire just after 8am that fateful morning, police tell the Kansas City Star. Belcher then told his mother he was sorry, kissed his daughter, and fled the house in his Bentley. Just before the gunfire, Belcher's mother heard her son say something like, "You can’t talk to me like that!" from the upstairs bedroom; she had been visiting from New York to help the feuding couple.
