About
  • Hello, I’m Tiki! I run the The Tiki Bar here at the station, providing you with all these great videos and stories about animals. My dogmom works with computers, and that is how I learned to blog. I learned all about writing, graphic design, and social media. Humans always underestimate us dogs! I love to give lifestyle advice to other dogs, so if you’re a dog and you need any advice on how to go from being homeless to being spoiled rotten, just ask!

My Story
  • I am from Delaware, and was thrown out on the streets when I was just a pup. I wandered around for awhile, cold and lost, until I got picked up by Animal Control. Soon I was being fostered by a kind woman who runs a shelter for puppies like me. One day the kind lady took me to a show where a lot of people might see me and want to adopt me. One of the first humans to visit was a nice girl who wears pink. As soon as she picked me up, I knew I was safe and this would be my forever home. I gave a big sigh, just to let her know I was happy with her. She started to cry a little, because I was so tiny and skinny and frightened. Then I knew I had suckered her in, and she was mine.

I really love eating Triscuits (They are my favorite), chasing the chickens outside my house, going shopping, and bossing my humans around. My favorite TV shows right now are Grey’s Anatomy, Hart of Dixie, and Scandal. I also really enjoy cooking shows, particularly the one in my kitchen every night. My dogdad might have been a professional cook, but he still takes a lot of pointers from me. My dogmom says I am spoiled because I get to wear clothes, sit in her purse when she is shopping, and sleep in the bed! But it is because I deserve the best!

I am 2 years old, and my dogmom says that I am part Chihuahua, and part Italian Greyhound. We don’t really know for sure, but I seem to have Chihuahua ears and a head, with a long Italian Grey Hound body. I weigh about 9 pounds, and I can run really fast!
