Taylor Swift previewed a new song from her upcoming album Red on today’s (Monday) Good Morning America. Called “I Knew You Were Trouble,” the song chronicles a time of self-frustration after falling for someone with a lot of "red flags." It's the second of the four songs off Red that she's previewing on GMA.
Taylor said, “It’s a song that’s one of my favorites on the album because it sounds just as chaotic as the feeling was when I wrote it. It’s a song about kind of being frustrated with yourself because here you are heartbroken and you knew that when you first saw that person you saw all those red flags and you just went for it anyway. So, shame on me.”
“I Knew You Were Trouble” hits iTunes tonight (Monday) at midnight ET. Other Red tracks available now include her single “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” the title track and “Begin Again.” The full collection lands October 22nd.
