Personality Bio

My love for music started when I was very young. I went through many toy guitars before my parents actually bought me a real one. I am sure I drove everyone crazy between playing and singing and listening to music every chance I got. It seemed like such a natural fit when the door opened for me to start my radio career in my hometown of Chesapeake, VA. One of my friends worked at the station and I used to go in with him on Saturdays and just play around in one of the studios. I fell in love with radio and the “radio bug” bit me big time.

My radio career has taken me on many paths. I have worked various music formats and held many positions from Program Director to Music Director. I also hosted a national contemporary Christian music program on the CBN Radio Network in Va. Beach, VA. I am so thankful to be the program director and afternoon host on Q105. We have a great team here and I am so blessed to be here.

I am crazy about my wife Cindy. I believe she is a real gift from God. She inspires me, encourages me, and sometimes challenges me. For that, I am so grateful. We are blessed and so thankful to have three children between us…..Liz, Kip, and Brooke. Liz goes to Eastern Shore Community College. Kip works for Sysco and Brooke is a senior at Pocomoke High School. They are great kids and Cindy and I are so proud of them.

Our faith is very important to us. We believe in the power of the Word and it is our desire to live our lives in a way that pleases the Lord. I also love the beach and surfing. Life is great, God is good, and I am so thankful to be living this “great adventure.”
